How Do Crystals Work in Spiritual and Physical Healing? Is there science Behind their alleged powers?
My journey to tap into the power of crystals began approximately 5 years ago. I had begun progressing in my spiritual enlightenment and through following many spiritual influencers, found my way into the world of crystals. Of course, I was skeptical at first, as my mind works in a very scientific and analytical way. I felt my first blog should try to answer the main question I had, which was how exactly crystals work in physical and spiritual healing from a scientific approach. Is there data or science behind their alleged powers?
Crystals have been on this planet for millions of years and were formed in the early stages of our Earth’s formation. They have been the fabric of legends for thousands of years and were used in various practices by many different cultures.

The first historical references to the use of crystals came from the ancient Sumerians dating back to the 4th millennium BC. The Sumerians included crystals in their magic formulas and used them for healing.
Traditional Chinese medicine dating back 5000 years used crystals for physical healing (such as acupuncture) and spiritual practices. They are still used in Chinese Medicine today.
In addition to these cultures, ancient Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans used crystals for their healing properties and protection. Ancient Egyptians even buried and adorned the dead with a variety of crystals. The crystals were said to protect and help transition the deceased through the afterlife. During the excavation of Egyptian burial chambers, crystals were found buried with mummies and adorned their bodies.
During these current turbulent times, many of us look to tools that will help protect our energy; tools that will help ground us, calm anxiety, and soothe our stress. Crystals are one way to achieve this as they allow us to connect to ourselves in a deeper and more meaningful way.
