Jin Chan, also known as the Money Toad or Money Frog, is a three-legged toad with a coin positioned in her mouth. Legend has it in Chinese Folklore and Feng Shui that the money toad helps to attract wealth and good fortune into your life. Seeing as how this carving is made from solid nephrite jade, you get a double dose of luck and good fortune! Jade has metaphysical properties that are known to attract luck, opulence and abundance. Although money toads can be made in a range of materials, carved jade toads are the most sought after. As a symbol of financial influence, Jin Chan is often found in Chinese decorative art.
