 Also known as the “Ultimate Heart Stone”, Ruby Fuchsite is a naturally occurring combination of the chrome-based mica mineral, fuchsite, and the aluminum oxide mineral, ruby.  The mixture of the two minerals generates a beautiful light green stone with red to purple inclusions that are spotted throughout the mineral.  Deposits of ruby fuchsite can be located anywhere that rubies are mined, but the more commonly produced areas of the mineral include South Africa, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, Brazil and Norway.  

The combination of the fuchsite stone that produces a youthful, regenerative energy along with the powerful, playful vigor of the ruby, make the ruby fuchsite mineral is an ideal stone for those who want to focus on their love life and building greater connections in friendships.  This mineral will help create and build greater bonds by encouraging us to project our true self to others while strengthening the capacity to love ourselves unconditionally. 

History

First discovered in India in the 1960’s, ruby fuchsite is a relatively newly traded stone on the market.  It was not collected and traded until the late 20th Century and was mentioned in the modern popular lapidary, Love is in the Earth, written in 1995.  Today, it is used commonly in jewelry making or for the healing properties provided by the stone.  It often carved for pendant or bracelets and used as a renewing crystal to bring out our inner child and invoke feelings of love and happiness.
